About the Employers profile


EMPLOYERS The ‘Employer’ profile is for companies with a CVR or private persons/families, who are looking to hire workers for a job or task. As an employer, you can offer part-time, full-time jobs or hire a worker for a one-time task. The purpose of our app is to offer you a large diversity of skilled and experienced employees, suitable for over 90 categories of work. We offer you various in-built features to fasten your recruiting process.
Always be one step ahead from your competitors, find the right workers.




Create a Job


Your first step towards starting your journey as an employer is to create a job offer. Find the light-green button ''CREATE JOB'' in the main menu of the application. (see picture) This page contains features that will help you structure your job opening.

EMPLOYERS' GUIDE

JOB TITLE

When workers search for a job, the first thing they look at is the Job Title.

For you to target the best employees for the job, you need to make it as suggestive as possible to the task.

Recommended format

Job Position/Task Name + company name/location

SELECT CATEGORIES

There are approximately 90 different industries you can use to categorize your job offer.

Choose as many categories related to the requirements/description.

By placing the job within the right categories, you will be able to reach out to the potential employees that entail the right skills & abilities needed to complete the job.

DESCRIPTION

To avoid confusion and fasten your recruiting process, it is mandatory to insert a description when creating a job.

A successful description may have the following structure:

  1. Responsibilities and tasks

  2. Working hours/time

  3. Working location

  4. Benefits for the employee (health insurance, lunch, flexible working hours or weekly social activities)

  5. Payment details

Optional

To ensure a clear understanding of your company’s standards and values, insert a link to your company’s official page.

TIME & DATE

To reach out to available workers, you will need to specify the date and time when the job starts and ends.

In case you are looking for a full-time employee, the time and date is the expected time for starting the collaboration.

NOTE | If you wish for a change of the time & date, contact the Day Worker Team at dina@dayworker.dk or on our facebook page.

SALARY & CURRENCY

An important aspect is mentioning the payment details.

The filed must be completed with numbers strictly.

If the amount indicated for the job is per hour, month or per project – you will need to mention this in the description.

After stating how much the worker can earn, choose the payment currency form the list.

JOB OPENINGS

The number inserted by you in this field is private and represents the number of people that can send you job applications. You can hire as many people as you wish within that number.




Manage Job Offers & Applications


Managing Job Offers All of the jobs created by you will appear and be sorted by status in the section ''Active Jobs''. Statuses Ongoing Jobs | when a worker is assigned to a job (but it is not complete).
After a job is complete you will be able to see that its status will change from Ongoing to Pending payment. Payment Options
When accessing the payment page, you will be able to choose the method.
MobilePay
Day Worker App has an easy to use, integrated payment system - Mobile Pay (used in Denmark). When pressing the button ''Pay With Mobilepay'' you will be redirected to your Mobilepay app where you can indicate the amount and phone number to which you will make the financial transfer. Other Method
Currently, we do not have other integrated payment options. If you used other methods of payment, you will have to write it down in the field below the buttons and press on ''Other Method''. (ex. cash, paypal, brank transfer etc.) After the worker confirmed the payment, the job status will change to Pending Review. Rating a worker You can share your impression about the worker's abilities or attitude by sending a review. Register your feedback by assigning stars and comments to the worker's profile. The Ratings will be visible to other employers. Accepting Applications | if you are accepting applications, your job offers will appear in this list. Here you will be able to review all of the received applications and respectively accept or reject the candidate. Offered Jobs | a section in which you can review the invitations sent by you to other workers. As an employer, you can cancel the invitation or send a reminder.




Find & Book Workers


FIND WORKERS The main menu contains a section named “Find Workers”. By accessing this page, you will gain access to the general list of available workers. You can choose to browse through the list by scrolling down or narrow your selection of workers by using provided sorting tools. 1. The Map

The first tool visible when entering the page.
The map is centered at your current location and indicates the workers available within your range under the form of small smiley faces ‘pins’. It is possible to zoom in and out, as well as to move the map around other areas. Job Categories List
If you are looking for users with a special interest in your industry of activity, you can select it from the existent list. Currently, we have approximately 90 different categories/industries. NOTE | Some of the users might forget to select the categories targeted by you. This doesn't define whether or not they are suitable for the job you are offering. Thus, to avoid the risk of missing out on skilled employees, we suggest you use both methods of searching for a new employee - with the job categories selected and without. Country Search
It is possible to sort the workers by the country. This search method is recommended if you are looking to hire someone from abroad or in your country, to work at your location or remote. Minimum Payment When registering in our application all users have to indicate their minimum payment preference. If you are looking to hire a specialist within a specific budget, you can use this feature to search for affordable services. NOTE | Even if you are offering a lower payment for the job, you wills till be able to invite the worker to review your job proposal.
Max Distance For employers that are looking for a worker in their area. NOTE | This feature will hide the available workers that are further than the distance indicated. SEARCH RESULTS By default, all the available workers will be listed below the map and the search criteria. Normally there should be displayed a picture of the candidate, minimum salary preferred name and the type of profile (freelancer or professional). To access the full description & details, simply press on the worker's profile.
BOOK A WORKER After creating a job opening, you can wait for the applications to arrive or send invitations to the users that match your job description. When accessing a worker's profile, you will be able to find a section named ''Book employee for the job''. There you can view the availability calendar of the worker. NOTE | If there are no dates listed in the availability calendar, you can still send the invitation to the worker. To book a worker you will firstly need to select the job title (see picture) and send the invitation by pressing the button ''Book Day Worker'' This will send an instant notification to the employee.




Finished Jobs


We created a special section for you that you can use to store and monitor the complete job history or statuses - named ''FINISHED JOBS'' (see picture). NOTE | As a user, you are not able to delete your job history. For safety reasons, the only user entitled to make changes is the Day Worker Administrator & Manager. If there is an issue related to this section, contact us directly by email at dina@dayworker.dk or on our facebook page. Status & History When accessing this page, you will be able to see which jobs are finished, pending payment or review. You can always access the contact information of the employee assigned for the job. Simply tap on the job to view the details.




Taxes | Employers | Denmark


As an employer profile, no matter if you are a company or a family/private person without a CVR number, you will not be held accountable for the tax administration of the workers hired by you. The users of freelance and professional profiles are obligated to independently report any income they may earn via Day Worker to the Danish Tax Authorities SKAT.




Notifications


Day Worker App has an inbuild Notification System, developed to inform you instantly about any activity between you and workers. These notifications refer to job applications received, job status, reminders, confirmations, payment status and other. While using the app, the notifications will be displayed at the top of your screen (see picture). Otherwise, they will be displayed in your phone's notification center. DO NOT MISS OUT To receive notifications, you need to allow them from your phone app manager settings.

About Professional Profile


PROFESSIONAL PROFILE This profile is for companies and individuals with a CVR number. As a professional, you can offer your services to over companies, expand your network and clientele. Are you looking for customers and/or partners for your own company? No matter what services you offer, by creating a profile as a professional you gain access to numerous users. As a user, you can offer your services to over companies and expand your network.




The Middle Menu - Job Offers Counter


The middle of our main menu contains an automatized counter. The number of job offers that you received will appear in the middle of the main menu when you log in. It will change according to the received number of proposals. If you have any offers, you can click on the number and you will be redirected to a page where you can see all the details about the job and contact details of the employer. NOTE | This number doesn't represent the jobs that you applied for.




Taxes | Freelancer | Denmark


ONLY FOR THE DANISH MARKET You can keep track of your B-income through our App. As a user of a freelancer profile, you will have an income counter at the top of your main screen, for the current year. The system will count down from 50.000 DKK, which is the amount you are allowed to earn
without a CVR number as a freelancer or a small company. You can read more about B-income and how to report it for taxes here - SKAT. NOTE | It is your responsibility as a Day Worker User to report your taxes to the authorities.




Taxes | Professional | Denmark


As a user of the professional profile, it is your responsibility to report your earnings at Day Worker to the Danish Tax Authorities SKAT, in correspondence with the earnings you will obtain at other platforms or via your regular customers.




How to switch a profile type?


At the moment, our Day Worker App doesn't provide an in-build function to change your profile type independently. However, if you accidentally created an undesired profile type, contact us and we will switch it for you within 24h (be it to a freelance,r professional or employer profile). How to find a job & apply?


When using the “Find a new job” feature, there are a few different ways to start your job search. Once you accessed the page you can simply start browsing through available jobs by scrolling down. If you are looking for a job within a specific industry and with special requirements, you can use our sorting tools. 1. The Map 2. Job Categories List 3. Sort by Country 4. Minimum payments 5. Browse and select the industries/job categories that fit your knowledge and interest. Currently, we have approximately 90 different categories. SUGGESTION | Pick as many industries as possible, this way you will avoid the risk of missing out on interesting job offers that might match your abilities. Country Search
It is possible to sort the jobs displayed by the country. This search method is recommended if you would like to work abroad and/or are looking for an internship for your studies. Minimum Payment
Use this feature to allow you to openly communicate your minimum payment preferences. You will still be able to apply and view job offers that have lower hourly pay. Max Distance For those that use public transportation, travel by bike or want to drive less than an hour to a new workplace. It is possible to set a maximum distance to the job's location. NOTE | This feature will hide the jobs further than the distance indicated which can be done from a remote location (home or your own office). SEARCH RESULTS By default, all the available jobs will be listed below the map and the search criteria. Normally the job should contain a logo of the company, job title, location, payment for the task, date & time. To access the full job description & company details, simply click on the proposal. How to apply for a job? You can apply for a job by pressing the ‘Apply’ button. This will send a notification to the employer with your application. Depending on the company policy, you will be confirmed or rejected for the job. The employer will contact you to inform you if you should follow up with a direct interview or confirm your employment agreement.




Activating your Availability Status


To make yourself available for employers/companies, you need to turn on your availability status. The main menu of the application contains a light-green button. With a single click, you can “turn on and off” your status. NOTE | Your profile will be hidden from our search engine if it is ''Unavailable''. This is how your availability button will look if you are NOT available. This is how your availability button will look if you ARE available.




Availability schedule


You can easily plan your working schedule and let employers see when you are available for work. It is possible to indicate days, weeks, months and/or the specific time in which you are able to work. The ‘Availability Schedule’ also offers the option to automatically make yourself available on the weekends. You can always delete and/or edit the data in your schedule. The ' Availability Schedule' is marked with a blue color on the main menu.




Job Status | History | Payment


We created a special section for you to be able to keep track of payments and monitor your job status/history - named ''JOBS'' (see picture). Freelancers & Professionals can use this indispensable job history as a proof of their completed jobs when reporting their taxes. NOTE | As a user, you are not able to delete your job history. For safety reasons, the only user entitled to make changes is the Day Worker Administrator & Manager. If there is an issue related to this section, contact us directly by email at dina@dayworker.dk or on our facebook page. Status & History When accessing the page ''JOBS'' you will be able to see which jobs are finished, pending payment, pending review or need to be accepted. Starting with November 2019 you will also be able to store and review your declined applications. You can always access the contact information of the employer. Simply tap on the job to view the details attached by the company. Pending Payment When you receive a complete payment notification from the employer, your status will change from Pending Payment to Payment Received. The collaboration with your employer will be over once you confirm the said payment. How to confirm the payment? For this, you need to press on the job offer and find the button named '' Payment Received''. If you did not receive your payment In case the payment did not arrive in your bank account - alert your employer. Use the button ''Payment Not Received'' to send a reminder. There can be various technical reasons why your payment could be delayed or not sent by the employer. Always contact your employer to clarify the issue and make sure to receive your well-deserved payment. About Freelancer Profile


FREELANCER PROFILE If you are looking for job opportunities and earn extra money every month, this is the solution for you. This type of profile is for those that are looking for a job. Through this profile type, you can apply for both part-time & full-time jobs within our 90+ job categories. A private person and/or a smaller company (without CVR number) can easily become a user. With a freelancer profile, you can: * Increase your income * Keep track on your B-income (Danish citizens) * Gain extra hours for your SU - student benefit (Danish students) * Record your job history & progress * Keep track & share your schedule As a freelancer, you can earn up 50.000 DKK per year (in Denmark).
