Welcome Page


Our ''Welcome Page'' has everything you need to get started. WHAT IS DAY WORKER? In this section, you will find a short description of Day Worker and the necessary contact details of our official representatives. Before creating a profile, read carefully our Terms & Conditions. The link can be found under the description. CREATE A PROFILE If you do not have a profile already, this button will redirect you to a registration form. There, you can choose your type of profile from the following three: freelancer, professional or company profile. LOGIN After you created a profile you will be able to access it by clicking the login button. You can read more about our login options here. CHOOSE A LANGUAGE We have two available languages in the app English and Danish. Do not forget to choose your preferred language before you log in to the account. You can switch the language at any time. PRIVACY POLICY Before creating a profile, access and read through our Privacy Policy. The link can be found at the very bottom of the Welcome page.




Create a Profile


PROFILE TYPES The first step, when creating a profile, is to choose your profile type: 1. Freelancer Profile | for job seekers (full-time or part-time)
2. Professional Profile | for individuals or companies with a CVR number, who are looking for work/customers 3. Employer Profile | for regular people or companies who offer jobs LOGIN OPTIONS The next step is to choose the login method. The method you choose is permanent and has to be used every time you are logging into your account. NOTE | You can choose only one option (read more here) 1. Log in with your email & password 2. Facebook login (to choose this option press the blue button named: ''LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK'') YOUR PROFILE PICTURE It is possible to upload a picture of yourself or your company logo. We recommend to upload a picture of a square size (ex. 350px x 350px). Keep your pictures sharp & professional. If you do not upload a file, Day Worker App will use a default picture instead (the Day Worker logo). YOUR ADDRESS It is mandatory to fill in your address, zip code, and town. This information is used to recommend workers to employers within specific areas. Respectively, workers will be able to instantly find job openings nearby. CATEGORIES (only for freelancer & professional profiles) This section is very important for your job search. You can select all of the industries in which you are interested to find a job. We strongly recommend to select as many categories as possible (within your skill range), this will make your profile visible to a wider number of employers. DESCRIPTION - for workers Use the heading and description sections to ''sell'' yourself, this is your chance to attract the employers to your candidacy. Heading Tip - has to be short and represent your current interest (ex. Ambitious Graphics Designer / Innovative Marketing Student) Description Structure

DESCRIPTION - for employers If you are creating an employer profile, you will need to add your company name and CVR number. NOTE | If you are a ‘regular’ person looking to hire a house cleaning worker (or other similar jobs), then you DO NOT have to complete the CVR number field. Use your name in the field ''Company Name'' HOURLY RATE The professional & freelancer profiles can add the amount they prefer to be paid per hour for their work. CURRENCY All profiles must choose their preferred currency. COUNTRY CODE In this section, you need to introduce the country code for your phone number ( ex. +45 for Denmark) MOBILE NUMBER For other users to be able to contact you, it is important to remember to add a phone number. HOMEPAGE Here you can add a link to your professional social media account. It can be a link to your LINKEDIN account or your online portfolio.




How to edit your profile?


If you wish to edit your profile, you need to log into the app and you will be automatically sent to the main menu. All of the profile types contain a dark green ‘'Edit Profile'’ button - in the lower right corner of the menu. (see picture) Once you accessed this page, you can make changes in any of the fields you would like to edit. EDIT BUTTON TO SAVE THE CHANGES Scroll to the bottom of the page and press the button ''EDIT'' in the lower right corner, this will save the changes you made. NOTE | You can not change your profile type and/or your logging method in this section. Instead, you need to contact us on our facebook page or at dina@dayworker.dk and we will fix the problem for you.




Log in Options


The Day Worker App is offering you two Login Options. The method you choose is permanent and has to be used every time you are logging into your account. 1. Facebook Log In This method will connect your Facebook account with your Day Worker profile. Day Worker will use your Facebook Account information strictly for Login purposes & will never have the right to post or share on your Facebook profile.
The purpose of this function is to speed-up your login process. 2. Login through email & password By registering with an email, you will also have to indicate a password.
Forgot your password? No worries. You can always recover and/or
reset it by clicking the ‘forgot password’ button on (under the login form). ERRORS & SOLUTIONS If you experience trouble logging into your account, make sure that you are logging in with the option selected initially when registering your profile. If you registered with Facebook Login - you will have to use the Facebook Login Button to access your profile (see picture). Still experiencing issues? About Professional Profile


PROFESSIONAL PROFILE This profile is for companies and individuals with a CVR number. As a professional, you can offer your services to over companies, expand your network and clientele. Are you looking for customers and/or partners for your own company? No matter what services you offer, by creating a profile as a professional you gain access to numerous users. As a user, you can offer your services to over companies and expand your network.




The Middle Menu - Job Offers Counter


The middle of our main menu contains an automatized counter. The number of job offers that you received will appear in the middle of the main menu when you log in. It will change according to the received number of proposals. If you have any offers, you can click on the number and you will be redirected to a page where you can see all the details about the job and contact details of the employer. NOTE | This number doesn't represent the jobs that you applied for.




Taxes | Freelancer | Denmark


ONLY FOR THE DANISH MARKET You can keep track of your B-income through our App. As a user of a freelancer profile, you will have an income counter at the top of your main screen, for the current year. The system will count down from 50.000 DKK, which is the amount you are allowed to earn
without a CVR number as a freelancer or a small company. You can read more about B-income and how to report it for taxes here - SKAT. NOTE | It is your responsibility as a Day Worker User to report your taxes to the authorities.




Taxes | Professional | Denmark


As a user of the professional profile, it is your responsibility to report your earnings at Day Worker to the Danish Tax Authorities SKAT, in correspondence with the earnings you will obtain at other platforms or via your regular customers.




How to switch a profile type?


At the moment, our Day Worker App doesn't provide an in-build function to change your profile type independently. However, if you accidentally created an undesired profile type, contact us and we will switch it for you within 24h (be it to a freelance,r professional or employer profile). How to find a job & apply?


When using the “Find a new job” feature, there are a few different ways to start your job search. Once you accessed the page you can simply start browsing through available jobs by scrolling down. If you are looking for a job within a specific industry and with special requirements, you can use our sorting tools. 1. The Map 2. Job Categories List 3. Sort by Country 4. Minimum payments 5. NOTE | You can always combine these tools. The Map
It is centered at your current location and indicates the jobs within your range
under the form of small smiley faces ‘pins’. It is possible to zoom in and out, as well as to move the map around other areas. Job Categories List
Browse and select the industries/job categories that fit your knowledge and interest. Currently, we have approximately 90 different categories. SUGGESTION | Pick as many industries as possible, this way you will avoid the risk of missing out on interesting job offers that might match your abilities. Country Search
It is possible to sort the jobs displayed by the country. This search method is recommended if you would like to work abroad and/or are looking for an internship for your studies. Minimum Payment
Use this feature to allow you to openly communicate your minimum payment preferences. You will still be able to apply and view job offers that have lower hourly pay. Max Distance For those that use public transportation, travel by bike or want to drive less than an hour to a new workplace. It is possible to set a maximum distance to the job's location. NOTE | This feature will hide the jobs further than the distance indicated which can be done from a remote location (home or your own office). SEARCH RESULTS By default, all the available jobs will be listed below the map and the search criteria. Normally the job should contain a logo of the company, job title, location, payment for the task, date & time. To access the full job description & company details, simply click on the proposal. How to apply for a job? You can apply for a job by pressing the ‘Apply’ button. This will send a notification to the employer with your application. Depending on the company policy, you will be confirmed or rejected for the job. The employer will contact you to inform you if you should follow up with a direct interview or confirm your employment agreement.




Activating your Availability Status


To make yourself available for employers/companies, you need to turn on your availability status. The main menu of the application contains a light-green button. With a single click, you can “turn on and off” your status. NOTE | Your profile will be hidden from our search engine if it is ''Unavailable''. This is how your availability button will look if you are NOT available. This is how your availability button will look if you ARE available.




Availability schedule


You can easily plan your working schedule and let employers see when you are available for work. It is possible to indicate days, weeks, months and/or the specific time in which you are able to work. The ‘Availability Schedule’ also offers the option to automatically make yourself available on the weekends. You can always delete and/or edit the data in your schedule. The ' Availability Schedule' is marked with a blue color on the main menu.




Job Status | History | Payment


We created a special section for you to be able to keep track of payments and monitor your job status/history - named ''JOBS'' (see picture). Freelancers & Professionals can use this indispensable job history as a proof of their completed jobs when reporting their taxes. NOTE | As a user, you are not able to delete your job history. For safety reasons, the only user entitled to make changes is the Day Worker Administrator & Manager. If there is an issue related to this section, contact us directly by email at dina@dayworker.dk or on our facebook page. Status & History When accessing the page ''JOBS'' you will be able to see which jobs are finished, pending payment, pending review or need to be accepted. Starting with November 2019 you will also be able to store and review your declined applications. You can always access the contact information of the employer. Simply tap on the job to view the details attached by the company. Pending Payment When you receive a complete payment notification from the employer, your status will change from Pending Payment to Payment Received. The collaboration with your employer will be over once you confirm the said payment. How to confirm the payment? For this, you need to press on the job offer and find the button named '' Payment Received''. If you did not receive your payment In case the payment did not arrive in your bank account - alert your employer. Use the button ''Payment Not Received'' to send a reminder. There can be various technical reasons why your payment could be delayed or not sent by the employer. Always contact your employer to clarify the issue and make sure to receive your well-deserved payment. Notifications


Day Worker App has an inbuild Notification System, developed to inform you instantly about any activity between you and your employer. These notifications refer to job offers, reminders, application approval/rejection, payment and review received. While using the app, the notifications will be displayed at the top of your screen (see picture). Otherwise, they will be displayed in your phone's notification center. DO NOT MISS OUT To receive notifications, you need to allow them from your phone app manager settings.

FREELANCER PROFILE If you are looking for job opportunities and earn extra money every month, this is the solution for you. This type of profile is for those that are looking for a job. Through this profile type, you can apply for both part-time & full-time jobs within our 90+ job categories. A private person and/or a smaller company (without CVR number) can easily become a user. With a freelancer profile, you can: * Increase your income * Keep track on your B-income (Danish citizens) * Gain extra hours for your SU - student benefit (Danish students) * Record your job history & progress * Keep track & share your schedule As a freelancer, you can earn up 50.000 DKK per year (in Denmark).
