10 TIPS to stay happy at work

Everyone needs this article on a moody day. Even though you love your work it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be happy and motivated every single day. And that’s completely normal. However, there are ways to slightly improve your tough day.
Lay back and read through those 10 tips to stay happy at work.
1. FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE
A good way to relax yourself is to enjoy the little things. What are the perks of your job? Do you get a free lunch? Do you get to hang out with some nice colleagues during the break? Pamper yourself and let the stress of the day ease away.
2. DRINK WATER & EAT HEALTHILY (or not)
Drinking lots of water and eating clean might help. It will enhance your energy level, your attitude and keep you hydrated. We heard dark chocolate is a powerful happy treat. Grab it all and roll your day.
3. MOVE A LITTLE
A ‘’sitting job’’ will only decrease your energy levels and mood. Stand up, take a small walk outside or even around the office. Help yourself focus and distract from the frustrations of the day.
4. REWARD YOURSELF
Did you think about what are you going to do after work? Make some plans, life is not limited to working 24/7. Schedule some fun time, be it at the cinema with a friend, shopping or whatever your heart desires. You will see, that going through the working day while looking forward to after plans will bring you joy.
5. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AT WORK
Inhale, exhale, repeat, repeat, smile, laugh and repeat. Try this for a couple of times and distress.
6. START YOUR DAY WELL
Wake up, meditate, do some exercise, eat healthy breakfast, make your favorite coffee and enjoy every moment of this beautiful morning. The start of your day will have a big impact on your productivity, make it as enjoyable as you can.
7. CLEAN YOUR WORKSPACE
Clean and declutter your workspace and throw away unnecessary things from your desk / drawers. If it helps, buy flowers in the morning and place them on your desk. With a clean workspace, you will feel more organized and inspired.
8. TAKE A VACATION
You are entitled for holiday days, so don’t be afraid to use them. If you really need a day off to refresh and calm yourself down, take those vacations days and enjoy yourself. After the vacation, you will come to work fresh and happy.
9. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Sleep is very important; If you know you will have to wake up early in the morning go to sleep early. You will feel way happier, trust us. Sleep is magical. If you get enough sleep, you won’t be as grumpy and will have a healthy perspective on daily challenges.
10. PLAY LIKE A KID
Don’t go overboard and get crazy in the office - you still want to keep your job. But you can doodle, play puzzle or with some small toy at your desk. There is no limit to your creativity. Boost your energy and mind state.
